Red Sparrow is a film production company created by producers Patrick Fischer, James Harris and Kate Glover. Red Sparrow is based at Ealing Studios in London and has a housekeeping deal with the Met Film Group.
PATRICK FISCHER - Managing Director
Prior to setting up Red Sparrow, Patrick headed up London production com- pany Gumball 3000 Films. During his two year tenure, Patrick produced two feature films; Love Live Long - helmed by Oscar nominated director Mike Figgis (Leaving Las Vegas), which premiered at the 52nd London Film Festival, and 3000 Miles - a fast paced documentary following skateboarder Tony Hawk and Bam Margera of MTV’s Jackass on a whirlwind road trip. While at Gumball, Patrick and James developed and produced a one-off television documentary for Channel 4, starring Danny Dyer (Severance) and Tamer Hassan (The Football Factory). Before moving to Gumball, Patrick worked at UK horror label Gatlin-Pictures, associate-producing the cult hit Forest Of The Damned with horror legend Tom Savini.

james harris - Creative Director
Before partnering with Patrick and Kate, James had established himself as one of the brightest young producers and production managers in the UK. Having started out in genre movies, production managing Cold Earth with Hollywood action star Gary Daniels and When Evil Calls starring Red Dwarf’s Chris Barrie, James moved on to production manage Hammer Film’s Beyond The Rave, starring Jamie Dornan and Sadie Frost. James continues to produce and line produce both through Red Sparrow and on outside projects and is currently producing UK genre blockbuster Cockneys vs. Zombies with SC Films.

Kate Glover - Head of Development
Kate’s debut feature Schooner of Blood, which she wrote and directed in her native Australia, has already generated a buzz on the international horror scene and is being released in 2009. Prior to her UK debut, Kate had already made a name for herself producing and directing a number of acclaimed short films and music videos in her home-town of Sydney. Kate’s ability to research and spot writing talent has already landed Red Sparrow with it’s top scripts and serves as the backbone of our development process.
